After making the super-hit film Ghajini in Tamil with Suriya in the lead, director A.R. Murugadoss made the film in Hindi with the same title staring Aamir Khan in the lead. Asin Thottumkal played the heroine in both the versions, romancing Suriya in the Tamil version and Aamir Khan in the Hindi version. Harris Jeyaraj and A.R. Rehman scored the music respectively for t he Tamil and Hindi versions.
Murugadoss, who turned producer by releasing his first production venture Engeyum Kaadhal last week, is now gearing up to release his next directorial venture titled 7am Arivu on Deepavali which falls next month. The film stars Suriya in triple roles and pits debutant Shruti Haasan (elder daughter of Kamal Haasan) opposite him.
Suriya’s roles of a scientist, a Buddhist monk and a Circus artiste would be a visual treat to his fans as well as movie-goers, it is informed. Murugadoss, courted by many Bollywood superstars, is said to be planning to remake 7am Arivu in Hindi with Aamir Khan in the lead.
On his part, Aamir Khan who is said to be following the script and the progress of 7am Arivu with keen interest, is willing to star in the Hindi version of the film. It would be the second film for the deadly combo of Aamir and Murugadoss after their highly successful Ghajini. The heroine of the Hindi version would be decided later, it is said.
